Tis The Cobbler Season!
Summer is the time for all cobblers all the cobblers Peach, blueberry. BlackBerry any and all!
this tho has been one of my favourite recipes. The breading has a nice crunch but not to much, sweet but not to sweet, and the perfect compliment to the fruit inside! I hope you enjoy this wonderful recipe!

Sunday we spent the morning at the farmers market! Not the usual much smaller local one I attended every Saturday. But the much larger one in the next state over! We arrived very early only for it to already be packed. We shuffled our way around, between people and booths. Trying very hard not to knock over someone’s table with my stroller.
We saw all different kinds of vendors some selling vegetables, baked goods, art and jewellery. Many local bakeries set up tents to take advantage of such a large crowd. Which i wasn’t upset about spotting my favourite the 'Federal Bake Shop' with their bright pink tent! We don’t go there often since they’re over an hour away. Even tho it would be well worth the drive for their multicoloured thumbprint cookies.......
After making our way around we found the 'Peach Truck' booth. They travel around selling in season Georgia grown peaches! To which we bought a bag of the best smelling peaches! Also picking up some bread from a local bakery and bunch of beautifully arranged flowers.
Let's get cooking! For this recipe you'll need.
Ingredients for filling
7-8 Peaches Pealed & Sliced
3/4cup packed brown sugar
1/3cup granulated sugar
2tbs flour
1tsp cinnamon
1/2tsp nutmeg
Ingredients for Breading
Preheat your oven to 350. In a bowl combine peaches, sugar, flour, and spices. If your peaches aren’t fully ripe put your filling mixture on the stove medium heat to softer. Pour you filling into a large baking dish and set aside. In another large bowl combine ingredients for breading being sure to melt the butter. Mix until smooth and creamy. Top peaches with batter and bake at 350 until the top is golden brown and bubbly! Let rest for 15 minutes and enjoy!
Happy Baking!!
