This is one of my Favourite breakfast recipes! Ive always had a love for anything French.. Especially french toast. This is a great make ahead recipe. Just pop in the fridge overnight and in the oven it goes to bake while you sip your coffee! Not to mention your home will smell like cinnamon heaven.

Challah bread is by far my favourite for french toast. It's very similar to brioche. The biggest difference between the challah bread dough and brioche dough is that brioche contains lot of butter while challah contains oil. It also look very pretty in the pan but either bread will do!

Start by thick slicing you bread. About 1.5-2 inches thick and set aside. In a large bowl mix together ingredients and whisk until smooth. Dip each slice into mixture until fully soaked. Place each slice into a prepared 9x13 pan, pouring remaining batter over bread. Pop in the fridge overnight at minimum 1 hour. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 for 45 minutes! Cool for 10 minutes and enjoy!
