Cinnamon Butter Swim Biscuits

Hello Lovelies!
This recipe is the perfect way to start your weekend! This deliciously easy recipe is sure to please! Sunday, in our home is pancake day and has been for a very long time. We slowly enjoy the morning, each others company, play with our daughter, and sip our coffee. But this Sunday was time for a change. Upon my husband’s suggestion we decided on cinnamon rolls. But unfortunately we where out of some of the ingredients. So the cinnamon butter swim biscuit was created! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
Ingredients
For Biscuits For Filling For Icing
2cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 8oz cream cheese
1tbs baking powder 1tbs ground cinnamon 1/2 cup sugar
1tbs granulated sugar 3tbs flour 1/2 cup heavy cream
1tsp salt 2tbs melted butter 1tsp vanilla
3/4 cup salted butter
1 3/4 cup buttermilk Bake at 450 for 30 minutes until golden brown

Lets Get Cooking
In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt stir to combine. Melt 3/4 cup of butter and pour into a 8x8 baking dish and set aside. Add milk to dry ingredients stir only till combined do not over mix! Pour biscuit dough into butter filled baking dish and smooth into corners.

Set Aside and mix together filling. Melt butter stir in sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Take a knife and cut biscuits into 3x3 squares. Use your knife and make a whole in the centre of each biscuit and fill with 1tbs of cinnamon filling. Sprinkle remaining filling on top and bake at 450 for 30 minutes or until golden brown!

For the icing! Beat together room temperature cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Pour over biscuits after removing from oven and enjoy!
